I'm a UX/UI designer and research assistant at SFI MediaFutures. I start by understanding the problem and the people I'm designing for, then explore ideas, build prototypes, test them with users, and improve the design based on what I learn.

CuratedAI is a research project at SFI MediaFutures that explores how AI is transforming journalism. I designed the website layout and interface, selected the typography and color palette, sketched the logo concept, and collaborated on the content structure and information hierarchy.

VITAL, short for Verification and Intelligence Tool for Accurate Health Literature, is a Chrome extension prototype for evaluating health and lifestyle claims in real time. It scans visible article content, highlights relevant claims, and presents source support, claim status, and framing analysis in a side panel.

VeriDash is a redesigned verification dashboard for analyzing video and image evidence, built for journalists and fact-checkers. It adds OCR text extraction, external geolocation lookup, session saving, and a customizable, card-based layout to speed up multimedia verification.

Change Watcher is a Figma plug-in concept that tracks design changes after handoff, so developers can see exactly what changed, where, and why. It groups updates by frame, flags edits in real time, and uses an AI assistant to explain each change in plain language.

My interest in UX/UI began with a simple question: why are some digital services easy to use while others are frustrating? I studied Information Science (2023) at the University of Bergen to understand how these systems work, then Media and Interaction Design (2026) to learn how to improve the experience of using them. Today, I approach design from both perspectives: how technology works and how people experience it.
At SFI MediaFutures, I work on CuratedAI, a research project exploring AI transparency in journalism. I contribute to UX/UI design, content structure, and accessibility, alongside research into how newsrooms communicate their use of AI.
I enjoy working across design and code. I built this portfolio with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and my projects reflect that combination of design thinking and technical understanding.
